From striving for security to following the call.
Twelve years of building, scaling, and stewarding companies — and the pruning season that reshaped it all.
Watchpost Partners didn’t begin in a boardroom. It began in a season of pruning.

I’m Ashley — a serial entrepreneur, and someone who has loved the craft of building businesses for as long as I can remember. Over the last twelve years of starting, scaling, and stewarding companies, I began to notice a quiet theme threading through every decision I made: I was striving for security more than I was trusting the Lord.
That striving looked productive on the outside. But inside, it shaped choices that slowly convicted my heart. I lost sight of whose business it actually was. I forgot why I had been entrusted with leadership, why God had placed me in this community with this influence, and how I was meant to steward it all for His kingdom — not my own sense of safety.
“As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers… ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.”
Matthew 4:18–20
The Lord began to prune those places — the self-reliance, the quiet idolatry of security, the version of leadership that depended on me — and then He asked me to do something simpler and harder than another business plan. He asked me to go to the people. To leave the nets I had been clinging to and walk toward the entrepreneurs He was already calling.
Watchpost Partners is the answer to that calling. A firm built for the founder who senses the same pull I did — that there has to be more than striving, more than scaling, more than securing. A place to lay down the nets, take the rampart, and lead from a posture of trust instead of fear.
“I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what He will say to me.”
Habakkuk 2:1
If the Lord is pruning something in you too — if you’re ready to stop striving and start stewarding — you’ve found the right watch.
Leadership
Every seat at the table, every voice in the room, every platform you carry is a trust from God — meant to point others toward His kingdom, not your own.
“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be.”
1 Peter 5:2
Stewardship
Your time, your talent, and your money are not yours to keep — they are His to deploy. We help you steward all three with eternity in view.
“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.”
1 Corinthians 4:2
Obedience
Strategy without surrender is just striving. The first and final question we ask is simple: what is the Lord asking you to do, and will you obey?
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
